#5 Florida State women will likely attempt to get through a relatively easy region to qualify for the NCAA meet.  The team has won six consecutive NCAA trophies and will look to add especially with the addition of Hannah Walker.  She has switched off for the #1 position on the team with Colleen Quigley, 2nd last year at this meet, and the top returner.  Carly Hamilton who hasn't run since Roy Griak was third last year and will attempt to lead unranked Georgia over competition in this region including #31 Florida.  

The men's race has no ranked teams coming into this race but Florida State is trying to win it's 11th straight title.  Florida was fourth at the SEC meet and probably has a good chance to make the NCAA meet.  Defending champion Jakob Zivec of FSU ran his first race of the year at the ACC championships but he finished 62rd.  Matt Mizerek was 12th at the ACC Championship meet.  Lukas Baker of Georgia was fourth at the SEC meet and he probably the favorite for this meet along with Jimmy Clark of Florida who was just behind him.
